Abhishek Banerjee has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to remove the hearing of the teacher appointment case from Calcutta High Court judge Justice Abhijit Ganguly's court.
The national general secretary of the ruling party Trinamool Congress is currently on a public relations tour and is in North Bengal. After the court's verdict, he said that he welcomed the apex court's decision. However, he said he would not comment on pending cases.
Banerjee said that we have full faith and trust in the Indian judiciary. Targeting the BJP, he said that the BJP is unable to win elections and is using some people in the judiciary. CBI probe has been ordered in 22 cases.
The Supreme Court ordered the removal of the case regarding the appointment of Abhijeet Ganguly from the bench. Chief Justice D. Y. A bench headed by Chandrachud issued this direction to the Acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court.
